In July 2007, the region appointed a North West Sustainable Schools Network Co-ordinator who will be supported by the Education for Sustainable Development Forum at the Development Education Project in Manchester. The co-ordinator will work on the sustainable schools agenda in the Northwest. Further details are available from DEP .
The Northwest Education for Sustainable Development Forum is also currently developing climate change resource packs for schools in the Northwest.
